I’m Akmal Shahzad, a fourth-year medical student with a background as a former professor of anatomy and a passion for surgery and medical education. My journey in medicine has been shaped by a commitment to excellence in patient care, a dedication to teaching and mentoring, and utilizing my creativity to communicate medical concepts. I am currently applying to residency in general and vascular surgery, with the goal of combining technical expertise, compassionate care, and innovative education throughout my career.
